But didn't know how to ask,
Will you be my valentine?

Now the day has come so near,
So, Iam asking you my dear.
With loads of doubt and fear,
Will you be my valentine?

We have been so close friends for long,
I don't want anything to go wrong.
We have been singing this friendly song,
For years from dusk to dawn.

The day has come that is so grand,
That has flowers and gifts in everyones hand.
I hope you won't break my heart with a bang,

I had this in my mind.

Will you be my valentine?

I also hope the answer was ( YES!I"D LOVE TO) . Ivy I was just searching for poets from India on this wonderful site when I came across your name. Then I started reading your poems and boy- do you write well or what? I am planning on visiting your wonderful country in a month or two , before that I decided to find out as much as I can about the culture there and the places to visit. I believe poets are more sensitive and caring and helpful than any other's. It would be great if you could mail me back and let me know where you live in India(not the exact street address) but the city and the interesting places to be visited around there. Also by reading your poems I have come to the conclusion that you would definetly be a very interesting person to strike a friendship with. Waiting for your mail.
