And smashed upon the ground,
Like the shards of her broken heart
Thrown back at her

A love built upon an attractive web of lies
Wondering, crying, screaming, blaming she finds herself bound
This life sucking leach killing her part... by... part
It sticks to the soul, biting and burning
Drawing blood like a burr

A disease that never goes away
Causing you so much pain
It disappears from time to time
Only to reawaken in the dead of night

The sharp pieces stabbing into her back are here to stay
What has anyone to gain if she commits this melancholy crime?
Even so, she's gone with the first of the light

Safely asleep she dreams,
Unknowning what the first light brings
The purple sky lightens to blue
The color of a heart bruised a tained hue. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 184 [topic] => 36 [informant] => blueeyedevil13 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )
