Can you hear them
They are everywhere

Open your heart

Listen

The morning chirps
Of the little sparrow
Welcoming the day

The gentle breeze blowing
The chimes
That tinkle form the eves

The gentle purring
Of the soft kitten
Curled in the
Palm of your hand

The oceans waves that
Pound the shore
With a cresting
Crash

The thundering sound
Of the jet fighters
In perfect
Formation flying overhead

The midnight train
Who’s whistle blows
Long and low

The collective aaahhhs
The crowd releases
As the fireworks
Explode their
Vibrant colors

The silence of the perfect
Summer night
Broken by the love
Call of the
Lonesome cricket

Listen
Can you hear them
They are all around

The sounds of
Love

I like this a lot. The kind of love you talk about is a kind all too often forgotten; the love of creation and of the good things of mankind's making. It reminds me of the excellent Scottish band Runrig, who sings about love of island, locale and tradition, as well as the beauty of nature, far more than the common romantic love that so overpowers music today.

Well done.

What a very beautiful poem!
Very unique. Very moving.
I find it true that when you're in love...
...every sound creates such melody...
...as to mesmerize you in ecstacy.

Good job! Keep writing!
