But then there is a dark side
To what is shining bright

I came into this brand new world

But missing inside my deep dark heart
A face that wasn't there

I miss you dad, so truly
With all my heart in whole
I wish you happy fathers day
And send to you my soul...

Along with my soul, i thank you for the life you have given me... and i thank heaven for keeping you safe in its arms.

For 16 years my life has been
A shining star of gold
Many memories, some happy times
And thoughts in which i hold

But then there is a dark side
To what is shining bright
A love was lost, a father gone
But not without a fight

I came into this brand new world
