I hate to go to bed
For the pain and gloom
I dread

Lying next to me
It’s your body that
I see

The language that your body tells
Says to me
Go……..well

Nothing I can do
Nothing I can say
Will turn your soul
My way

So my pillows I will hold
For tells to them
I have told

Their comfort for my tears
I have shed for
Many years

For in my dreams
He loves me so
And on with living
I can go

Thru the day my dreams
Are there
That makes my life easier
To bear

Now at night my bed awaits
And dream of
Love that will
Not abate

You write what you must, and this is a very honest write. Still, may your heart find happiness and may your pen write of it.

There's nothing worse then sharing a loveless bed. Still, dreams and wishes in the embrace of sleep is sometimes all we have. Feelings I'm glad you put to words, feelings I've experienced too many times, but never again.
