But I do my best to try
Trillions upon trillions of stars
Light up the night-blackened sky

I can’t help but wonder what it’s like up there
Among the colour-drenched gases
The supernovas and nebulas
And bright star-clustered masses

Different planets of distant galaxies
And all that’s unattainable
Meteorites and quasars are more
That are quite unobtainable

Light-years away are bright pulsars
Emitting gamma and UV radiation
Neutron stars and red dwarfs that
Have just reached their emaciation

But of all the plasma gas
And asteroids out there
And the dark matter known as space
So cold and silent with no air

I love our Solar System within
This Milky Way Galaxy best
Even when people are born and then die
And then I get no rest

And in this system all I see
Are Saturn’s many rings
The thought of death cries out
(Or rather, I think it sings)

That in death we have nothing to fear
But black holes where our hearts should be
So bright and warm inviting suns
Are our hearts and minds you see

Whether or not there are humans
On any planet but ours
Know this, folks, our destiny
Is written in the stars

So fear not for your life now
Because when you do die
Your soul, no matter good or bad, will float to

What's really impressive to me about this poem is the way ya took the scientific of terminology and painted a beautiful place to see ... and souls, "no matter good or bad", to be. Excellent work in my book.
