When men in power tell lies And media agrees What’s in the future But a world on its knees? When power is all And truth is a game Can we respect leaders That exhibit no shame? With 'Only one way' All else is unpatriotic Havn’t they made democracy Into something psychotic? When freedom is controlled By witch hunts and spies Is it right THEY tell US What’s truth and what’s lies? When we all feel fear And want protection Do they then manipulate Without detection? When the powerful elites See their chance to control Is this how it feels To lose your own soul?
