The more we reveal our hearts, the more likely it is to get broken. As with all my poems, i am open to suggestions -especially ideas for the titles-. [bodytext] => I fell so hard,
but that wasn't enough.
You kicked me when i was down.
You said it was tough.
What had i done?
I'd never hurt you.
I was foolish, blinded by love,
but the hatred soon grew.
It started with a small seed,
a seed i mistook for passion.
Eventually i learnt,
that your love was on ration.
You used me, you beat me.
I told myself it was OK.
I cut myself, i'd bleed my sorrows from my heart.
Every.Single.Day.

I fell so hard,

You said it was tough.
What had i done?

Excellent word play...
Love is toxic to me and has never actually been true to me,
However, it doesn't stop me from seeking out some form of love
Because it sucks to be alone!
I chase after love like junkie chases after drugs, and I always get burned...
I can feel what you feel in reading your words because they are feelings that are real to me... I have also felt those cold metal feelings!
Keep the faith and remember... more writing, less cutting
