The only night that we can picture crystal clear in our minds...
For you to meet me at your door, drenched in a April downpour...
For you to wrap me up into your arms, and take away the chill...

We anticipate each others every move...
The grabbing of the towel, to dry my dampened hair...
A gentle hand wiped accross my cheek to dry away my tears...
The giggles as we find I have hugged so tightly that you now need a towel...

We have nothing to prove to one another...
Like the cover of a book, you cannot judge in one word...
How to describe the friendship that blossoms days by day...
And with the April shower gives light to a new day...

Memories of our yesterdays, talking every single day...
Where we shared many a laughs, and smiley faces too...
Memories of you and I, both the good and the bad...
Our memories will last, over the miles and the years...

Hence we may never see this night...
That is etched so clearly in our minds...
But alas we are still close as one can be...
A friendship that will last for all eternity...

Beautiful sentiments in here. It is grand when you find
someone to share this sort of "kindred spirit" with.
Your words displayed a soft and gentle appreciation
from one heart to another. And I gather from the words
that lie therein, this friend you converse with via IM.
Wonderful invention, that. It allows us to talk to so
many friends and loved ones that we might otherwise,
have to wait a dreadfully long time to do so.

You are lucky and blessed to have a person in your
life that inspires this kind of write. Incredibly touching.

I am moved . . .
