she slides the ring on
for all to see the love so great
yet tears depressed slide down her face

The ring slides on easy
the perfect fit
this beautiful girl
found her grown up destiny

Her boy was strong
he was quick
the knife moved fast
the hate moved faster

Do you really know who you loved?
Do you really know who you hated?
or the intentions people strive to hide
from those innocent eyes

she lay on the floor
a puddle of red tears
weeping from her stricken body
warming the cold reality

wedding dress stained
hopes crushed
life leaving
still heavily in love

he is still busy
the cuts still come
she is still dying
no reprieve will come

the honeymoon over
before it began
and till death do them part
is taken literally again

Holding her finger ...no longer on her hand
she slides the ring on ...over the mutilation
for all to see the love so great...parting is such sweet sorrow
yet tears depressed slide down her face...while her eyes glaze over [comments] => 2 [counter] => 157 [topic] => 59 [informant] => Sinfullilmissmuppet [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => psychoticpoems )
