Tangled

Contributed by Lo2681 on Wednesday, 17th May 2006 @ 03:49:49 AM in AEST
Topic: insomniac

Run away with me for just a day,
Come with the girl that knows you best,
Lay down next to me just one last time,
When I sleep I know you listen to my every breath,
You kept me warm underneath the sheets,
Tangled up by our feet.

Run away and don’t look back,
At all the people that have kept us apart,
We can escape one last time together,
Know deep down your inside of this heart.
I know you love me and it’s all I need to know.

Runaway and don’t say a word,
Please don’t tell me you have second thoughts,
Disregard all those doubts of getting over this,
All these vivid images in your hearts won’t be forgot.
I know I broke you once but please …just one more thoughtless talk.

Runaway and let me in one last time,
Runaway and help me complete this sin,
I miss you in a way I can’t describe,
And though I have other ties,
You are still engraved across my heart deep inside,
I promise to let you drift after this….can we just run away?
