While listening to the music
Getting confused, talking to myself
My heart will get me through this

And we all shine on
All ya gotta do is understand
That we all shine on
On and on

One year older tomorrow
But another year less wise
I read the paper every morning
Reading about death, misery and lies

Thinking about how I let myself down
Not really knowing when or why
Because even people who are really down
Still smile in their heart when they sigh

So we all shine on
Ain’t nothing more to it at all
Because we all shine on
On and on

Writing my life story inside my mind
Leaving out the details
Writing a fantasy with karma and truth
One of those fancy fairy tales

Jealousy reigns supreme over my soul
But since I understand I overcome
And you know I smile when I’m sad
I know I do it easier then some

We all shine on
And give our selves up to the sun
We all shine on
On and on
We shine

Wow beautiful peace. I am glad you shine on. I think we have to so we can get through the bad times or the boring times or the times that just feel empty. You are gifted....keep it up:)
