Some things dark ,others bright,
Some times happy, some times sad,
Whatever life throws just be glad,

Treat misfortune like a long lost friend,
Nurture the feeling one day it will end,
Take happiness and hold it tight,
For it will keep you warm at night,

Cossett your friends and make them aware,
For them alone always be there,
For without them, life would be so cold,
Tell them how you feel ,be ever so bold,

Treat your enemies with love not hate,
For sometimes reasoning can come to late,
For sometimes life can cause the war,
And make us hate those we really adore,

So treat each day like its your last,
And never try to recreate the past,
Look to the future with eyes open wide,
And get ready for a bumpy ride,

So consider the words and tell me true,
Do these things written sound like you,
Take life and hold it in your hand,
And yes my friend you will understand [comments] => 4 [counter] => 205 [topic] => 19 [informant] => jerseysue [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => InspirationalPoems )
