Into the Night

Contributed by NoSaint on Tuesday, 16th May 2006 @ 12:33:32 PM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

Into the night she searched
Into her soul she looked
Into the corridors dark
Corners long forgotten

A voice whispers softly
The past is the past
Take the lessons
Erase the rest

Onward we flow
Now is the time
Eternity rests in self
Joy is but an attitude

Only as elusive as you wish
There is wonder all around
Seize the moment, find the beauty
Learn the lesson and move on

Into the night she searched
Into her soul she looked
Beauty she brought forth
Love of self she found

Shari, this was a wonderfully told truth. Gentle and soft
in it's telling, it speaks with such depth and wisdom. I love
that last stanza. We could all learn something from
the words written . . .

Thank you for this.

~Breezy
