Today I don’t feel well,
I don’t know what is wrong with me,
My mother she says that I look pale.

I know that something isn’t right,
I can feel it inside my veins,
And the way my hair falls out constantly,
Is driving me insane.

I took a little run today,
And I could feel my bodies cries,
I know I’m probably imaging it,
But doctor could I die?

“The tests we ran they came back today,”
The doctor says to me,
“It looks as though some things are off,”
“I can see you in a week”.

Now what do I do I sit here and wait?
As my body becomes frailer everyday,
I guess all I can do for now,
Is hope to God and pray.

in a sense, this poem reminds me of those found within Shel Silverstein's poetry books.. and i like those poems, so i like this one, too

Take care.
