A single star in the sky, is the only light I see.

Laying back upon the grass beside the lake, my dreams wonder.

Dreams of us, dreams of you, warm my spirt.

My eyes suddenly open, im still in the dream.

I feel you lieing nexted to me. your body is soothing.

You breath deep and slow, as in rhythm with my heart.

Are these dreams or memories for this has happend before.

My dreams are suppose to calm me down and woo me too sleep.

They are no lullabuy, they quickly turn to nightmare.

A sudden flash, you tell me you love me, and tell me to trust you.

Then again your in another mans arms, and in his bed.

We work and work to save our marriage.

You show no intrest, just words with no life.

Words mean nothing, with out compassion.

Just as much as sex with no passion.

Try to make it work, Try i say

There will be a day when words have no play.

Only actions can soothe my pain. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 219 [topic] => 75 [informant] => loveistorment [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => anguished )

Whoa! I LOVE the language in this poem, loveistorment!

I also like your username, "love is torment."
So true, so true...

I really do hope everything works out for you...
If your spouse sees this poem, they really should reconsider what they're doing...

But, in the end, things will turn out as the Maker intends them to be...
Either way, you'll get what you need...

I hope this comment comforts you in some way.
While I have no idea exactly how you feel, I know that things that cause pain, physically AND emotionally can lead people to something rather rash...

Everything will turn out right, you'll see. : )
