Watching them live their lives
It’s like a void surrounds me
Blocking me from their sights
I’ve lived my life just hoping
That they’d finally see me
But I’m still nothing more
Then a lonely outsider
Waiting to be accepted
By the people that I love
I wish I could do something
Anything to make them see
There’s someone who’s just waiting
Waiting for them to finally see
Maybe if I wowed them…
Did something seriously spectacular
They’d welcome me with open arms
Instead of shunning me with angry glares
But nothing I do fazes them
I’m just a shadow on the wall
Someone who’s just waiting
Waiting for them to see me…

wonderful but sad write. I once felt as you do but I have learned that I should be happy with myself and if they do not care enough to see me then I do not need them. Maybe one day things will change for you.
