sing songs of praise
Working yourself
into the craze

Then you will break
your will not your own
There on bended knee
before a great throne

Now you will listen,
Now you will forget
all your own ideas
for they are the threat

Follow the leader
is the only game here
Being the black sheep
becomes your worst fear

Once you are calmed
under their trance
it is far too late
you haven't a chance

Follow the leader
with fear of damnation
Welcome Christianity

Well, here's indeed a condemning poem, although built on an impression that's not very accurate. I can tell you as a matter of experience, it's a small fraction of Christian churches that sound anything like this, and if you wanted to criticize American churches, fervor and/or blind devotion is among the least applicable choices. I wonder how much you know of what you speak.

Right on. Good point made here. Most Christians are anything BUT christ like. Liked the write.

Another political piece - this time bringing religion into it. At least if I did place on some of my political work I'm sure you'd understand it!
This is an impressive piece! I really like the 4th stanza!
