Especially when you no longer fit into their life::. [bodytext] => Your cordially invited,
To an event of two,
Who shall stand united,

He feels as though he is passer by,
Watching her life as she slowly cries,
Black tears on her wedding dress,
And the groom spills Vodka on his vest,
A roller coaster tamed by a ring,
Which to him feels like a mockery.

He watches as she sells her soul,
Does she know what she’s doing she’s not too old,
A lady in the front whispers under breath,
"I heard she slept with the best man the last time the groom left",
And every sin that has ever been between them,
The bride hopes will be absolved as she says good-bye to her freedom.

Loving the woman in white… what a sin,
But he would have given her the world if she had just let him in,
“Does anyone here object to this love?”
The priest quickly asks as the man bites his tongue,
And then the priest recites “ Two hearts shall be blessed.”
And the mother of the bride tries to smile and look at the best.

He says good-bye to bride that he wished would meet him at the alter one day,
But her crazy addiction to not letting go got in her way,
His love for her he knows he must now dismiss,
As the tragic reality for the man in the back row... is sealed with a kiss.

I like your poem because it shows that weddings are not always perfect. Someone usually ends up getting hurt.

It was a poem straight from the heart.
