The soulful look gleaming in your eyes
Your soft, echoing, gentle cries
Delicate hair, flowing in the breeze
These are what brings me to my knees

The gentle crash of the waves
The howl of the wind through the caves
The smell of salt lingering in the sea
Are the moments I feel you with me

Hand in hand, we walk along
Whistling, humming, our favorite song
My heart is yours for ever and a day
Never will my love decay

A feeling like none other, alive in my soul
Sweeping through my body, I have no control
A tingle in my hand, a twitch in my eye
A joy in my heart, without you I’d die

You are the angel atop the Christmas tree,
The sparkle in the snow, the sugar in my tea
The rose without thorns, the moon at night
The reason for life and my only light

Here we stand, face to face
My hand caressing your elegant lace
No one around, nothing to miss
Time stands still, captured in a kiss [comments] => 5 [counter] => 185 [topic] => 2 [informant] => Kevin [notes] => Edited for spelling as requested. - Moderator_16 [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

wonderful writing.
The picture can be clearly viewed. All the feeling, the things that happen, in general, everything. :D I would give it a 10 in rating

I would have to say I think this poem is special enough for whomever that lucky person is!! How truly romantic....The whole piece flows along beautifully, and I love the fifth stanza the best, I think. Well done!
