little do you know
about the sweet temptation
that echoes in my thoughts
how it would feel
for this blade
to scarlet my wrists
watching in amazement
as my numbness disappears
if only for a moment

little do you know
about the pain
the anger
that i hide
in that dark corner
of my mind
bound and gagged
wrapped in chains
this dirty little secret
i'm trying to keep from

little do you know
the reason why
i keep you awake all night

maybe i'm searching
for something
for someone
that once calmed me

little do you know
