Looking in eachothers eyes we were oblivious.
The falls of blood and echoes of fading screams
Seemed as blackened, lying kinds of dreams.
Bound by a love that shifted into shadows
Shades of grey muting agonized hearts that bellow
The songs of drunken, mornful angels whose
Gods had put them through this hellish rouse.
We kissed as glowing eyes moved closer
Basking us in a light of unholy ether.
Our bodies were lit a flame and now are as sulfur
but we lived no matter what others would prefer.
Your empathic poetry ceased my hazing dread
Were on you chest I could rest my weary head.
The decaying of our flesh told us loods don't matter
and we'll die soon as our bones creak and clatter.
Sands of time rained on us like firey hails of dust
As the love that grew in our hearts began to rust.
We told eachother that we would always care
but it seems that isn't how life would fair.
Your snow white feathers drew to raven black
and on my eyes and on my heart you turned your back.
You said good-bye and blew a kiss that burned
Could this be what my soul had earned.
The only light in these sullen shadows
grimmer and grimmer it still grows.
You flew away and left me but to die
As I fell into the darkness and only cry.
My body wanders walking into no where.
As others try to take their feelings and share
but my soul staggers and cannot seem to hear
How others seem to show thier fear.
If reflections show in my passing soul
Could this be what happened or a solemn goal. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 168 [topic] => 48 [informant] => Faust [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

Good write I know how you feel. If you truely want the pain to stop, open your heart and give yourself to Christ. It has been the best thing I could ever have done, and I have lost all of my pain in my heart.
