Every time you're around.
I open my mouth to greet you,
But out of it comes no sound.

Why am I so tense,
From seeing you in the distance.
As soon as I catch a glimse of you,
My muscles pull that instant.

Why am I suddenly silenced,
By your relaxing, soothing voice.
Every time you speak, I listen,
My ears make the choice.

Why am I left breathless,
From passing you in the hall.
Just imagine if you looked at me,
But only you can make that call.

Why am I a dreamer,
Thinking I have a chance.
I'm wishing upon a star,
About a hopeless romance.

Why am I pretending,
That things are going fine.
That I'm not just some girl,
And that you're not always on my mind.

Why am I invisible,
No matter what I do.
I feel like such a nothing,
Because I don't exist to you.

So why am I in love,
With a jerk who couldn't care less.
I can't take it any more.
My heart has failed the test. *sigh* I have known, and still know so many people who have been there.

I guess a lot of people have asked many of these question. I have.

I like the write. You could do with looking over your poem for typos before posting, though. Just give it a last check before you press submit, becxause in the end, it will make your poem look more professional.

I think some of the rhymes were pretty unique, I like the first stanza a lot.

Keep hope ;)

Good write,
*hugs*

I loved how this piece flowed...almost like a song. Great rhymes. Great subject that I think all of us can relate to. Good job. Peace, Laura
