I look to where you're sleeping, how contentedly you lie
Being careful not to wake you,I move so quietly
To search the silent night for the kiss I felt on me
I'm sure it was not you for your lips I'll always know
Yet something came to me in dreams, left my heart aglow
Outside the snow is falling, angelic flakes of white
Such beauty in it's silence, unspoken whispers in the night
A howling wind, yet gentle,to my senses dances near
And as I listen closely,I swear it's you I hear
I'm not sure what you're saying, still it is so very moving
And as always like your heart,it is so very soothing
A soft and snowy cover, blankets the winters ground
I want to share this with you,but still you sleep so sound
With my legs curled up beneath me,I sit by the open window
Caressing every feeling from this dreamy winter show
Cool and crisp night air flows in and touches me
I am lost within the magic and feel so very free
I cast my eyes towards you and quietly thank you for all this
For in your dreams of winter, you sent to me it's kiss
Dream away my darling, while so content you sleep
And in my heart,your kisses,I will always keep [comments] => 3 [counter] => 149 [topic] => 30 [informant] => LovingWhispers [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => PoemsonBeauty )
