you spoil me
roses, three white, one red
candlelight
soulful bluesy jazz filling the air
chardonnay, creamy baked brie, grapes and those lovely little crackers
a gorgeous wood fire flickering away.
soft, magical kisses between
poetry of blake, yeats,eliot and
the silly, funny stories you've brought with you tonight
warm fuzzies
shared laughter
feet being rubbed
the occasional hug
loving whispers
and
one slow and sensuous dance....

and then it's time for you to go.....
so..

i become your coffee-grinding mama
i know you like it steamy, creamy, hot and sweet.
just a little something,
hot on the kitchen table,
before you go out the door. [comments] => 10 [counter] => 253 [topic] => 43 [informant] => roisin [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

"just a little something,
hot on the kitchen table"

Great lines! Very spontaneous. I'd almost like to see the words 'hot and sweet' removed. Just 'steamy and creamy'. Leave the rest to the imagination. The line that follows is the knock-out punch. A little less info could be a better build up for the piece.

Joyfull read.
