WHAT DO YOU DO?
WHAT DO YOU SAY?

What do you do?
What can you say?
He disappears
It’s not his fault
It’s ours!!!

Do rules matter?
I guess not!
What matters then?
His dreams are fatter?

No one knows
What’s in his head!
No one knows
What has been said!

What matters to him?
No one knows
But him and God
The stories told
Not gold.
Just old!

Lie’s, Lie’s, so many lies
Sneaking and lying
What if he died,
Because of his lies
And could not be found?
The sweet little one
Who is down!
Or whatever it may be.
Don’t think he’s free!

Wishing he’d stop
But what good is that?
Little importance
Insubordinate
His way!
No way!
Will not sway……..

What do you do?
What do you say?
Nothing,
Not even today!
Just don’t know
Which way to go…..

It ‘s a distinctive style adopted by my poet friend in this poem. The subject has been handled with great depth, those who had gone through the bizarre life style during their teen can easily relate these verse in their life. Good work friend you spoke through your heart yet again.

The stubborn of the teenage years. A source of severe frustration. Reason, values, safety. pshaw pshaw. I am teenage, I am invincible. It's kinda funny how much smarter the teenager's mom and dad are when life teaches him some humility. Don't lose faith, there's a reason for everything.
Great, heartfelt write.
