Whilst beauty gleams a lone thought teems
Of love once torn apart

I’ve often tried though love defied
To write it all away
Yet so denied I must abide
To this love of yesterday

If I could find the love for which I’ve pined
My heart may beat again
For now resigned and to my dreams confined

wow.... great emotion conveyed in only three stanzas. Very moving, very delightful, and an excellant rhyme scheme. The title aswell is very thought provoking. Yesterday's love. very symbolic, very meaningful. congrats on such a great write.

A painfully, sad write. I must confess, I prefer your romantic
writes to these forlorn melancholies . . . but that in itself
says something about your ability to evoke emotion and
make your reader feel along with you. That is
mastery. [ Or is it wizardry? ] lol j/k

Tremendous piece. Très emotive! Gosh, your heart is
just so beautiful. Truly.

You see the above work displayed is that of a talented and gifted poet. You make the reader feel ur pain and sadness through ur words. Sadly u speak with a wounded heart. Time heals all wounds my friend.May you find someone special real soon who shall be worthy of ur heart and love.
Heartfelt hugs,

Second reading.. ok, give the pen a rest, your heart a rest.. then pick it up and start over.. still a most lovely poem... beautiful message of the heart speaking out its piece.. make it a today... love... a new poem from the heart, a brand new start... thanking God for making more than just 1 day, so we can keep starting over a fresh new way of wonderment and learning each day as it comes..

Hugs,
