WRITER'S OF POETRY CAN'T STOP
I've been asked ten by ten.....
Don't you get tired of using your pen?
Writing poetry over and over again?
You better believe I do, and Amen!
My pen doesn't care, it rests when I'm through,
Prose, Poetry, short story, I can't undo.
A true writer finds it impossible to do,
Midnight to early dawn, souls renew.
Hot is the burning ember inside of you!
Words come alive inside my head all new.
My heart's full of love for people,
a necessary virtue.
It's like breathing, involuntary breakthrough.
Since a young child, sixty years now to be exact.....
Beauty, badness, sadness, with words I attack.
An interesting life was mine, filled with joy and woe,
Poems created carefully entwined in my
life's rainbow!

WRITER'S OF POETRY CAN'T STOP
I've been asked ten by ten.....
Don't you get tired of using your pen?
Writing poetry over and over again?
You better believe I do, and Amen!
My pen doesn't care, it rests when I'm through,

I loved this write Mom ConSue. Writers of poetry sure can't stop, but can sometimes get writers block like I do sometimes, lol.

I remember the first poem I wrote.
I was made to go to the salvation army 'cause my sister was a tambourine player or summat.
anyway...
I won! the contest!
(A book on Joseph.)
I swear it was a fix cause I had zero confidence!
But one positive thing came out of it...
I believed I could write...
and for some crazy reason I still do!

How very right you are. It must be in the blood,
I myself, even in
the present moment ,afflicted with technical problems, reach out in spare moments for - a blunt pencil that is knocked over by a small, - but very very compact Cabbage Head .
