GROPING IN DARKNESS

born into darkness, trying to see.....
mentally, spiritually, psychologically,
groping in darkness, dim-sightedness we!
even with parental guidance, understanding vaguely!

higher schools of learning--knowledge.....
without emotional security, empathetic outage.
incapable of feeling what others feel!
damaged relationships our feelings we conceal!

experimenting on the road of life......
will this work? no reasoning, like wildlife.
facing huge boulders--hard cold rocks
learning from example, wayward wind socks!

crooked path, diversions, quandaries, entanglements.
many tight knit weeds block, silent statements!
adventurers, explorers, subject to trial.....
speculative, tentative, life's circumstances crucial!

at your journey's end, dawns the light?
still guessing? trying one's best endeavor?
walk toward the light, focus on His Sunlight!
read his guidance book--answers
your Creative Author!

he created us, and then designed our mind......
free will, installed our complete make-up
His will and ours combined--He aligned
teaching responsibility, maturity, refined grown-up!

"I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God
who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect

And I ask:
"What loving God would put us on this earth
to Grope in Darkness without some guidance?"

Great poem, with great questions.
Yes Connie, we are to use our wits that God was pleased to give us and make the best of it.

Gallileo is so right:

"I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God
who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect
has intended us to forgo their use."
~Galileo Galilean~

And your answer matches it perfectly. Use
your gifts, that is what our Father desires, but always being aware that they are HIS gifts.
Great poem Connie!

Elizabeth - boobie:-)
