Feeling of loss
Then a shadow appears and the cold is gone
A feeling of warmth takes over
Takes something old out and puts in new
A inner somber peace
Can it be the words that are truly felt
Spoken with a whisper in the mind
It indeed is felt when seen
Not a dream yet a sense of reality
Holds all that keeps the warmth
Always given back

Dayna girl ~

You've yet again accomplished to take words and throw
them effortlessly down in an attempt to convey a truely
profound thought. Your writes never fail to make the reader
regard and contemplate and this one is no exception.

Painfully thought-provoking !!

*hugs*
~Breezy

I really liked this one - a very yin-yang feel. Internal dispositions always right themselves eventually, whether you are an optimist or a pessimist. Nice poem.

How fun it would be to just pick at your thoughts Dayna! Miss-thoughts-of-the-profound-and-deep-inspiration! This is a wonderful piece.
