At Least I Gave It My Best

Contributed by kaitee on Friday, 28th April 2006 @ 04:47:15 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Love from above is not what I'm feeling.
Living in this world's left my mind all revealing.
The system is crumbling.
The people are mumbling.
No one I speak to seems to ever live through.
The ball's in my hand.
Rhythmic motion is the plan.
Outkasting am I so says the world order.
Get shot or get arrested for sitting in the corner.
Is this life worth living? I hope you can answer.
Pain spreads in me like a rapid spreading cancer.
Half my life taken away by strife.
I wish I neva had this life.
Can I trade with anybody who likes to be left out of themselves?
Freedom is what we seek in our inner most selves.
Religion is what we based on,
But can we stay strong?
World make you trip, flip,
Like a rollercoaster make you sick.
Take a cruise to the moon, and let it release you.
Run from this prison of round fluid though it needs you.
The battle may be lost, but the war is not over.
Stay strong, my people. Look to Jah for world order.
I know the struggles life gives makes you wanna quit,
But trust me on this, you can handle it.
And whatever tomorrow brings
I'll be there to repair and share my hard earned life givings.
This fake life we living will not last much longer.
Slowly I feel the evil growing stronger.
Down the drain my head goes.
What a waste of flesh,
But at least I tried. At least I gave it my best.
