She
In her eyes I see a sea of emotion
she tries to hide it all
behind the amber colored walls
that are her protection
In her smile I see a bitter twitch
she never really is ever happy
there is something she hides
In her voice I hear a twang of discontent
a melancholy under tone
not ruining but enhancing
the interest in the melody
In her heart I hope to find a secret garden
to which I can find
a key
to help her enter it and become
whole along with me

This is a very sincere write. I too, suffer from depression, and it can be devistating. All I can say is be there for your friend, she will need you one day, but she has to be ready, she can't be forced. That only compounds the depression. God speed to your friend. |
