tears are swelling
eyes bleed a crimson cry

fears are beating
my lungs cease breathing
without you I constantly die

the stabs are re-stung
the pain is re-sung
my heart has become a martyr

ripped open, ripped out
my soul silently shouts
and your words always become harsher

they pierce and they sting
hate and cuts they do bring
i'm once again sewing together my veins

you're killing me inside
i feel like i've died
this drowning soul can't take anymore rain

and now i'm just hungover...

this is an amazing write!!! so much pain and emotion expressed so well through words..brilliant. "the stabs are re-stung
the pain is re-sung
my heart has become a martyr"
my favorate lines..and truthfully...you don't see the word martyr...i actually had to look up the definition..and the way you used it is so powerful...and it is used in context...most of the time when i run accross a word that is not so commonly used it tends to be out of context and used completely wrong...but it worked wonderfully here...thank you! ;)

Amazing! I love your use of the darkest imagery to
convey emotion, i'm jealous. it's really wonderfully
written.

they pierce and they sting
hate and cuts they do bring
i'm once again sewing together my veins

lovely, heartbreaking, and altogether savage.
keep up the excellent writing, i'm a fan.

Dwayne
