How did this happen?
I know him for awhile, but it seem like forever
I could talk to him about anything &
each time feel something new
He understands me & I figured him out the
first day we met
I was there to listen & he was my backbone
feeding me strenght
How did this happen?
I wasn't suppose to feel like this
Not for him
He's in love with a another
& I'm with someone else
My crazy emotions did this to me
We have so much in common
Yet we can be so far apart
In the end we can still be one
How did I let my feelings get
the best of me
I feel as if I wanna cry
My world has just ended
& I can't take another step
When ever he is around my heart beats ten times faster
My mind running on ten thousand thought a minute
& they all start off with "WHAT IF"
I'm losing it
My new feelings may drive him away
I'm may lose the one person that gets me
How did this happen?
How could I fall in love with my best friend?

Falling in love, if you ask me, has nothing to do with logic. We fall - it's just that simple and that profound (and overwhelming and complex and frightening and.... everything-but-logical).

Hang in there - Time has its way of showing one what it is/can be. Somehow, some way, it will make sense one day.

i totally agree w/ silent-no-more about how love is everything but logical. and i can fit in very well with you. I have fallen in love with my best friend (i will not say when... cause i know ppl on this site) and it sucks. because i know it can screw things up, but yet i can't stop how i feel. maybe if you let things lay a little low for awhile and see how things turn up, maybe you should tell him. i don't want anything to go wrong because of me, though, so just follow your heart. it was a great write though, very heart felt : ) keep up the good writing and i hope everything turns out okay for you!
