[bodytext] => I walked the hollowed halls With aged wine in my grail. As my cup starts to overflow When in life I seemed to fail. It drowns me yet I cannot tell My senses are ensnared. The wine is like a pit of hell And yet I cannot care. The stench of the burning drink Smelt of rotting flesh. My sanity is at it's brink. I cannot see through this mesh. They foretold I would pick my poison And it was one who I did meet. For the poison I picked was love And the taste sickly sweet. Yet when the poison reached my gut It took a bitter taste. Everything in life was boading well, but I learned life was a waste. My birth was a mistake I knew that when I cried. For never was I given a break Even though I tried. This wine, This cup was my life That overflowed with poison. Yet the poison was from one love And was picked with reason.
