Fill me,
Fill me with...
all,
all of your light.
Light that holds you up...
higher...
higher than the emptiness
the emptiness that...
fills me,
fills me with sorrow...
sorrow that makes me bleed...
bleed out for you...
for you light...
hold me closer than ever
at the crest of this omnid scene
with averted eyes
(for I am nothing so you will see nothing)
Fill the void,
complete me.
Fill me with your light,
Fill me.

I found this disturbing but in the most intriguing way. The continuing call of "fill me" adds a hint of desperation that says there will be no tomorrow. I think it could be taken positively or as a sign of resignation even though you are "gasping for life"
There is a since of defeatism with just a glimmer of hope. Let the hope grow!!!!!!!!!!! |
