While deep inside my soul does cry,
It asks God why he took you.
Painted my world in ten shades of blue.

My life feels empty and the shine has gone,
As down here with us is where you belong,
Your love will never fade away,
It is by my side day by day.

I look at your photo in my frame,
I feel guilty like I’m the one to blame,
I couldn’t save you even from death,
I couldn’t give back to you your last breath.

Life goes on when loved ones leave,
And we left behind struggle and grieve,
Trying to cope with the loss and pain,
Knowing that never will we see you smile again?

I just wish this was just a bad dream,
But this time everything is as it seems,
I can’t turn back the hands of time,
To again make you ours, to make you mine.

Your smile lit up the darkest room,
Chased away everyone’s sadness and gloom,
If you were still here my heart would again beat,
But right now the world has fell around my feet.

Oh sweetie... Reading this breaks my heart.

I wish I could take away all your pain...

This is such a heartfelt write, hun, so honest and emotional.

Take care.
