Shes the Cowgirl of my dreams,
Her hoss,an her roped-ole Ki-O-Dee,
At least once a week-it seems.

The first Cowgirl-out on the lone plains,
Shes the Cowgirl of my dreams,
Boy could she handle her hoss,an reins,
Yippy-Ki-O,was her screams.

I loved that CowGirl-Thats how I felt,
Shes the CowGirl of my dreams,
First coined phrase, "COWGIRL", by Roosevelt,
She could harness the hoss-teams,

She rode cross Texas,it once was said,
shes the CowGirl of my dreams,
She could Bull-Whip,and snap a snakes head,
I loved that CowGirl of dreams.

Her beautiful smile, and eyes of blue,
Shes the CowGirl of my dreams,
Her fancy ropin, men matched but few,
She was curvey like the streams.

And waltz, she could waltz across Texas,
shes the CowGirl of my dreams,
She holds my heart-the true love it has,
She lights the night like moon beams.

The CowGirl yells O-Yippy-Ki-O,
Shes the CowGirl of my dreams,
Clean across Texas to Ohio,
Her voice is heard-so it seems.

My love fer her-it will never end,
Shes the CowGirl of my dreams,
The CowBoys tell me-its just a trend,
But every night-shes my dreams.

Someday her hand-I'll ask fer my own,
Shes the CowGirl of my dreams,
Never more-will I wonder with roan,
Shes captured my heart-it gleams.

So fellas-if you find your CowGirl,
Shes the CowGirl of your dreams,
Waltz her across Texas with aswirl,
And spin her into-love dreams. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 177 [topic] => 55 [informant] => Wesley_Dale_Willis [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )

Day 4 No. 1

Great gutsy stuff
great construction
I could hear the hoofbeats
and the crack of the whip,

One of my grandaughters, Alex, is a show jumper, has a few cups etc. and looks like making the "Big Tme"

I've done a "Western" well at least it's set to the tune of "Ghost Riders in the Sky" called The ballad of Lechers End
