I have confronted my fears,
Face my emotions.
Turned on my love.
It still pains me.
It is still tearing me apart.
How and I to escape.
How am I to free myself?
Maybe I should try to fly.
But that is the coward’s way.
I will hold as it crashes over me.
I will stand alone.
