Your poem struck me and I had to comment. I used to make fun of "jesus freaks" . I was lost and alone. I recently accepted jesus into my heart and as my savior, and had what I can only call A spiritual experience !!!!!!!! Dark forces will try to tempt you and tell you not to believe. I see things in a whole new light now, and hope you got passed that moment of lies from a darker force if you will. HUgs to you

First of all my hat off to you for this spiritual work which is flowing with true human struggle.

The great thing about Cotrelle's songs is that you give us a story poem ahead of it, call it a liner note. This lets us understand Slide. Even better is that I have been reading Slide's stuff and it seems that I can hear the music play along. I actually feel as if I am listening more than simply reading. This is an example of your enormous talent. What I have picked up on here is that Slide's spiritual transformation has actually evolved him not only in soul but in his music. I see this as more a jazz song than a blues song. This shows that your character Mr. Cotrelle is changing and that makes me crave more.

Excellent Job as always.

I think the flow in this was better than in the others bar the last one. It was faster and easier for me to read, too. I found it a lot more upbeat than the others.

That is a good thing, but it doesn't make the others bad. Not in the slightest.

Anyway, wonderful write, Scott. I am looking forward to the next one.

*hugs tons*

Aye, I think there's plenty to this one that resonates with all of us. And it's very polished, as well, as Phil pointed out.

Well done!

Andrew
