Array ( [sid] => 117811 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Serendipical Moments II [time] => 2006-04-06 05:03:07 [hometext] => I showed the original poem to a friend of mine, and the next day he brought it back with all sorts of additions and alterations to it. I decided to share this new version with y'all. [bodytext] => A sense of privilege is what I felt
to have shared a space in this universe
with a being so perfect. Flawless she was.
Holding a new life, Could this be for real?
I felt shivers running up my spine when our eyes met
Who is this, what can it be and why do I feel that way?
Is this what they call love at first sight?
Yeah it was love at first sight,
Little did I know, lust, I assumed as I walked to meet her
But I wasn’t to be!

I was in a safe place, safe space,
In my love nest, or rather paradise,
a safe state of mind.
The warmth of her soul blew down my neck
as I tried to make sense of it all.
Indeed she took my breath away,
Could she be the one?

The silence was broken by rumbling emotions
twirling my insides, I couldn’t even be still.
She breathed with 1000 angel voices-
with it, she dispersed all my insecurities,
my worries and felt like there is no tomorrow

In her eyes I could see the future-
Me and her playing house and seeing the world
The occasional fights leading to kisses, love and smiles,
I could see my self growing old with this beast of love
Am I infatuated, or is it love?

Could it be love at first sight?
Could it be…….
All it takes is accepting my inner self,
Love like I’ve never loved before
unconditionally

The journey of love begins here,
All I need is a ticket, baby you are the ticket master,
Wanna holla one down for me?
Whatever it takes, I shall do to be with you

How will I tell her how I feel?
A total stranger she was days ago,
Now she is lying in my arms,
Stroking her softly. Words won’t come out.
I keep on telling myself she might reciprocate my feelings
But if she doesn’t know how I feel.
I will never be that close to her
And truly that never happened as I walked a way from her.
Now I ponder every night. . . . . .[
Ahh well it’s a hard knock life
