My heart longs for me,

Tears of sorrow,
as i cry out in pain.
Forever thinking,
'Never again'

I know i must stop,
but i can't find the light.
To guide me through,
this endless night.

You know you had,
the key to my heart.
And you used it souly,
to tear it apart.

I thought you were,
the missing piece of my soul.
The only person who could ever,
make me feel whole.

Yet here I stand,
Emotionally shattered.
My heart bruised,
and severly battered.

I try to pick it up,
to mend it again.
For this is not over,
this is not the end

I know you hurt me,
more than you know.
But believe me when i say,
it isn't so.

I have a lot,
of love to give.
But you destroyed my heart,
And that i cannot forgive.

But i know its not unbreakable,
and it's not beyond repair.
And in my heart i know,
that you will not be there.

I loved you so much,
i cannot lie.
And the pain i felt,
I did not die.

I lived through the hurt,
and all the pain.

My eyes are burning,
my chest is sore.
