Read it as you like. [bodytext] => Bitty little butterfly,
Flap your restless wings,
When nighttime comes just try to think,
Of nice and happy things,

For night conceals an evil there,
That cannot be compressed,
Clothed in dark, a predator lays,
Never to be at rest,

Beautiful butterfly, full of grace,
How magnificent you are,
Shame your such a tragedy,
You won't get very far,

The world goes 'round and 'round,
On a gleaming axle of fate,
A predator is lurking,
And you're the flawless bait,

Rotted beings love to prey,
On exotic, pretty things,
Be careful when they get you,
Because first they'll rip out your wings. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 198 [topic] => 32 [informant] => crimson_regret420 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

This is really a good write. If you wonder what I get from it is that no matter how beautiful something is there is always someone who wants to ruin it...It is a very sad thing.

WOW. there is no other word to describe this but WOW. The symbolism you used was simply amazing. This is the best poem I've read all day. Awesome job.
