I raise my cup to the one made up
Of loveliness alone,
A woman of the kindest way,
A vision all my own.

To whom the better elements
And kindly stars have blest
Her form so fair, that like the air,
'Tis all of Heaven's best!

Her every tone is music's own,
Like those of morning birds,
Yet something more than melody
Dwells ever in her words;
The secrets of her heart, are they
And from her lips, each flows:

As one may see the honeybee
Take issue with the rose.

Affections are as thoughts to her;
The measure of her hours
Her silky mane's the fragrancy
Of April's youngest flowers.

Upon her face, one glance would trace
Her beauty to a pain..
And of her voice, to all she parts,
The sound would long remain-

To hope our paths should ever cross
Might all but seem in vain:

...as life might be all poetry,
my every word, soliloquy..
and "lonely," ...just a name.

Beautiful words Billy true poetry;

This particulary stood out for me:

Her every tone is music's own,
Like those of morning birds,
Yet something more than melody
Dwells ever in her words;

J.

Love's down and counting. Such beautiful work penned from your heart. Counting down until forever and eternity. Just my take on the splendid beauty.

Unbelievable beauty Billy.

This is one of the most precious and blatant outpourings of
the soul I've come across in a long while.

Your stirring of emotions and sweet words saturated in an
essence so positively soft, it could melt any frost bitten heart,
brings a tear to the eye. (Literally)

Your gorgeous muse is inspiring brilliant work, my friend.

I can not tell you how much I love this. It's exquisite.
