a porcelain mask hung up on her wall
two nails thru the eyes so it wont fall
she is a priceless beauty,so timid and so young
the mask watches her from the wall which its hung

she cries in a corner over her parents fights
she hides under her covers and turns out the lights
the father storms in and grabs her as the mother calls the cops
the father beats the mother before hes taken to the cell of lost
screamin....

you cant take her away from me
how can you take her away from me

she blossoms into a teen off to college she goes
she dosent forget her mask, the face without a soul
she pins it up on her dorm room wall
two nails thru the eyes so she doesnt fall

her boyfriend is in her room, drunk with all the love
she pushes him away but soon gives into the submissive drug
he rapes her on her own bed,her virginity is stolen and lost
she cant fight back she can only whisper "please stop"

you cant take this away from me
how can you take this away from me

2 months later shes curled up crying on her bed
screaming "i hate that ******* i wish he was dead"
this priceless beauty is pregnant with that monsters baby
she spends her time now crying, dreaming and hating

as time passes a lil girl grows inside this girl
its a thing a mother would wish for out of this whole world
instead she comes back from the clinic an empty tainted "whore"
now the monster is beating and screaming at her door

you can't take her away from me
how can you take her away from me

as she beats on the wall the mask falls and slightly cracks
she picks it up and puts it on, her own immortal mask
she offers up her prayers and she offers up her penitence
your just another pretty face broken by existence

mirror mirror on the wall, whos the wickedest of them all
"mankinds mentality and its sure destined to fall"

heartbreaking write, written with a touch of things so very real in life today.Nicely done, and tragic to say the least.

Your use of symbolism/metaphors is excellent. Although, it seems to me you don’t respect your work. This is probably because of your English and use of abbreviations. So in the future when you’re writing use spell check so others such as myself will respect your work(s). =)
