come and listen to my lustful lies
of legends that line up the listful
liars of liable lackluster
with fools and fryers both following false
fraudulent flying flocks of flies
and there in lies the lustful legends of lies

Vertigo whos vigilantly valor does very
for the vial venom vermin, whos name does vary
vigilant villain also known as Vermillion
the blood battle based on bigotry and blood thats spillin'
tell me about the people youve been killin'

nercophiliac nancy whos name spreads a fancy
a not so known knack for not knowing the now never lasting
nevermore near the nest of the nameless, shameless none of us
no one never napping
everyone forever gasping

so i sit in the sham of a scrudilant scam
the sinners thus scram from the shameless, nameless sham
they call a candid, kind hearted, kindred, christian catastrophe
to terrible to think to themselves the terror they tripped
too bad the bodies battled to be the best battered beaten bloody corpse
cant count on the cannibals of california to come can the creepy meat of remorse

so as you read my words and wallow in your willful wanting to willingly
wave in the whining tides of wrong
sing to the slaves of solitude a sad yet skillfully sung song
about how your twisted words get tainted and tired for truthfully liars
are lying to liars of lustful satyr
both shameless and nameless the song sung thus tame us

so as you read my rugged and restless writings
remember the rest of us who restlessly and ruthlessly
try to uncover the truth you see
down in the dark depths of the demented dream i dream this day
dont forget to ask yourself..."what do i have to say today?"

This poem literally came to me in a dream, in the dream i was reading this poem to an empty audience, when i woke up i wrote it down as fast as i could while i still had the medley in my head [comments] => 0 [counter] => 167 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Vermillion [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
