Loneliness

Topic: SadPoetry

Loneliness is something not easily described
Sometimes its wanted, sometimes its not
Some people need it to be a pill that’s prescribed
Or a punishment for being so ***** different
I think its still, its heavy, its powerless
You can feel it, you can touch it.
Do you want it? You ask yourself that .
Why? Why should it be something I fear yet need?
What does it actually mean to be lonely?
Is it being bored with nothing to do or being so fed up of everything to do.
You can be lonely by yourself in a room filled with people talking to you, no talking AT you.
That doesn’t make any sense, how come you are lonely and everyone else isn’t. or is everyone else just as lonely but they cant say,
Talking to yourself are you?
That’s the first sign of madness.
But Maybe that’s what loneliness is, Madness

Quite a bit to ponder - loneliness is what we prescribe as an alternate to pain yet we madley desire that which causes pain. Catch-22 at its utmost. well written.
