Lives so perfect to the smallest details,
Glass slippers and dresses of the finest silk,
Houses made entiry of candy and chocolate milk,

Would you like to not grow up, just like peter pan,
And be a hero evermore in never neverland,
Or escape the perils of your step family,
Marry a prince and live forever happily,

Could you ever kiss a toad,
Slimy and green as his croaks echoed,
You never know he could turn to a prince,
Isnt that what you want, your chance at pure bliss,

But I dont think stuff like that happens anymore,
Our lives are so scheduled it becomes more of a chore,
Lunch at twelve, Pilates at two,
Oh my gosh theres so much to do,

Sometimes I wish I could live like a queen,
Or never grow up remain just a teen,
But life goes on, through the ups and downs,
Theres no point wishing for that non-existent crown.
