This is a really neat artistic series... even though I see that this charater is from your imagination, it sounds like a mirror of the truth. I also know so many that have been through the same experiances, though I can only speculate at the inspiration for your vivid imagry of the redemtion of the soul. Our Lord is a Lord of wonders. May your work continue to be blessed.

Peace be with you,
Joshua

Followed you through from the record store.Hey,I felt that so much, and the power of the exit. This led the reader to the soul of this work, brilliantly. If we love our music,we all have Slide Cotrelles..love to hear the audio version.
Superb job here...both of you,

Den

Slide's best. Scott, you really capture the essense of the blues with this character you have created. It is as if Mr. Cotrelle has taken on a life of his own. The latest spiritual series has been a joy to read, or in my head listen to. I the spirit of Robert Johnson and Leadbelly, the emotional howls of Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters with the sweet contemporary "give a damn dont" of Taj Mahal. This is something of a marvel. This character should spawn a film. What a story!

BRAVO

Methinks it's my favorite of the series so far, as well. Beautiful, Scott. Bravo!
