By just letting one go
Or saying goodbye…?
Is it that easy?
To wash it all away
To see it slipping by
Right through ones fingers
To cast it all aside
And see it disappear
Watching love vanish
Into nothingness…

If I’m sorry wore a mask
It would be of my face
Cast into clay
And destoyed from wrong doings
Cast aside from the lies
And blown into dust
Yet worn through the years
And showing only me…
Saddened from the loss…

Easily forgotten
Thrown to the wayside
Lies amount to everything
That fades into the misery
That completes ones destiny...

I’m sorry for the past
And the way that things ended
I’m sorry we faked happiness
I’m sorry we pretended
I’m sorry for the empitness
The way I made you sad
I’m sorry for the happy times
And those that seemed so bad
I’m sorry that you found his love
I’m sorry for my sins…
I’m sorry for the misery…
I’m sorry I’m not him…
I’m sorry for the agony
I’m sorry for the tears
I’m sorry for the hate we have
I’m sorry I’m your fears…
I’m sorry that I lied to you
I’m sorry I went astray
I’m sorry that you’re gone
I’m sorry you went away
I’m sorry for the words I said
I’m sorry for the hate
I never knew the truth you had
The limits you would take
I’m sorry for this heartbeat
I wish that it would end…
I’m sorry we faked love
I thought that we were friends…
I’m sorry for all of it
I’m sorry you’re above me…
But what hurts me the most…
I’m sorry you no longer love me…

I know how you feel. Shouldn't have to say goodbye for any reason not even as friends. Wonderfull write I can feel the pain and hurt that you portray in this writing. Excellent way of showing your emotions.
